somebody has posted a great introduction to the long running Scottish Sunday comic page titled Oor Wullie. I haven't seen it for a long long time, but Wullie always began and ended each week's story sitting on a bucket. in one of my own things I drew myself on Wullie's bucket, but nobody ever mentioned getting the reference.

¡Hi, Eddie!
Now we get it.
By the way, who was the author of Wullie?
Take care

Glad you liked my intro to "Oor Wullie"! It was going to be him or "The Broons", but I couldn't find source material as easily! :)

Next up, I think it's time America met the PROPER "Dennis the Menace" (as in "and Gnasher") and "Desperate Dan", no? :)

Thanks for the information, Eddie. I´ll try and let you know if any of his work has been published in Spain.
And, yes, Keepsakes, maybe I should have used "the artist" instead of "the creator", but I do understand that Dudley D. Wattkins shares both conditios,
Well, Eddie, once again: thanks for squandering your narratives in this blog.
Cuídate.

Well, the Eagle Awards are accepting nominations, and I think rather than give the Roll of Honour to another contemporary artist, we should be using it to recognise giants of the past. So I've set up a Facebook campaign to Nominate Dudley D. Watkins for an Eagle Award. Anyone want to join? Invite your friends!
